November 18, 2009

Would you rather…

have a “save game” feature on your life?

or

win the lottery?

things to consider: money doesn’t buy happiness (lie). the butterfly effect.

Honestly, I think money can buy a certain amount of happiness.

    Lottery, please.

    Lottery.

I’m pretty happy with my life decisions up to this point. Money would just make things a bit easier and I’d be able to achieve my goals quicker in life.

Because, be honest, most of our goals involve insane amounts of money – school debt paid off, house, travelling, etc.

    Lottery.

I see now value in just pausing my problems. I DO see value in paying to make them go away.

I’ve been watching FAR too much Gossip Girl.

Does “save game” mean you can quit and come back? That’s tempting.

But the lottery’s more of a sure bet, so to speak.

Win the lottery. If I keep making mistakes and pissing off my friends, I can just buy new ones. No big D.

Since I’m already pretty damn happy, whoo! I’d rather win the lottery. I’m convinced that time travel = some explosion of some sort, so I’m good without the “save game” feature, haha :-P

  13. Michelle says:

oh thats an easy one: lottery. i already know what id do with the money too. pay my and my parents debts. create a “private school/college fund” for the kids i will eventually have. gift some to friends. donate the rest :)

money doesnt buy happiness, but it can do a lot of good in the world

  15. Jaime says:

I’m going with the lottery for two reasons:

    1. I love money and I never want to have to work to get by again forever.

    2. Who am I kidding? There’s really only that one reason.

  16. Berto says:

The whole “save” concept is interesting. Is it the kind where you can save where ever you want or are there save spots every two years or so?

Either way, I’d likely go with that option because I could memorize lottery numbers and then reset and win the lottery. And then everyone wins…especially me.

Save Now feature. Then I’d call up Zach Morris and tell his “Pause” thing to suck it.

  18. Jess says:

The lottery. I’m more interested in what’s going to happen and where things are moving than in repeating what’s already happened. Even if things don’t all work out the way I’d like.

  19. Ed Adams says:

Lottery is always tempting, but those people always end up worse off.

    Broke
    Divorced
    Early death

Still, I’m not quite sure what the Save Game feature would be used for.

  20. Megkathleen says:

Save the Game feature is tempting – as long as I could get stuff done during the break. Otherwise, lottery all the way. Don’t tell me that Louboutins don’t provide happiness of some sort.

lottery… even though it doesn’t buy happiness, it relieves the stress of money issues, allowing me to do the things I want instead of need and have to do.

I’m going to say lottery. Money might not buy happiness but it would buy me a whole lot less stress and aggravation. And at least I’d be unhappy and not worrying about ending up living in a van down by the river.

Definitely save game! That would just be so handy, especially if it was like the old pocket Nintendo games where you could save in multiple slots. I’d always save my Pokemon games before going into a big battle so that if I failed, I could go back to the beginning of the battle. Hehehehe.
In life, that would pretty much make me invincible!
